The Just One Soccer League (JOSL, an affiliate of New Jersey Youth Soccer) is a recreational soccer league for Newark boys and girls, ages 4 through 15. There are no paid coaches, referees, or board members. All other active roles are filled by volunteers.  The season is composed of 10-15 weeks in the spring. 

Registration includes a uniform, soccer ball, and practices with a coach at least 1-2 times per week with games every Thursday evening and Saturday.  We also try to provide at least one trip per season to see a New York Red Bulls or New Jersey Ironmen game (local professional soccer clubs), as well as a trip to a Newark-based event. 

JOSL covers the fees for coach or referee training (required for volunteers).  The league is managed by dedicated volunteers who serve on our Board of Directors.  The Board includes former and current coaches, parents, and community members.
